Adelaide Airport: J1, J2, Taxi and Rideshare

Adelaide Airport sits approximately 6 kilometres west of Adelaide’s CBD. Central accommodation can use a direct city bus, while a suburban address may make a through route or door-to-door pickup more useful. For a CBD address, start with J1 and J2. Both run directly between the airport and the CBD, and both leave from Stop 10 on Sir Richard Williams Avenue. The stop is a 2–5 minute walk from the terminal; Adelaide Airport also identifies a trolley park near it, useful when luggage makes that walk the limiting part of the bus option. J7 and J8 serve Adelaide’s south-western and north-western suburbs rather than the CBD. They can fit an address near West Lakes, Marion or another suburb on those corridors, but they are not city-centre express services. For a direct arrival to the door, the taxi rank is outside the terminal. Peak means before 09:00 and from 15:00 on Monday to Friday, all day Saturday, and until 04:00 on Sunday because those services are treated as Saturday scheduled services. Off peak is 09:01–14:59 on weekdays, 04:00–midnight on Sundays and all day on public holidays.
