Manisa Airport Transfers: Havaş, Rail and Taxi

Manisa has no airport of its own. İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB), in Gaziemir, is the main airport travellers use for Manisa because Havaş publishes a direct airport-to-Manisa City Center service. The airport operator lists Havaş, İZBAN, ESHOT, taxis, car hire and private vehicles as its ground-transport options. Havaş is the simplest public-transport choice because it avoids a change in İzmir. The current Havaş route planner identifies “İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport” as the departure point and “Manisa City Center” as the destination. Its displayed route runs through Gaziemir, İzotaş, the Ankara Highway, Bornova Road, Manisa Junction and İzmir–Manisa Road before reaching Manisa Bus Terminal. The listed Manisa stops include İzmir Bus Terminal, Bornova University Bakery Products 2, Anemon Stop, Batı Kışla Stop, Old Bus Terminal and Manisa Bus Terminal. The rail alternative is a connection rather than a single airport-to-Manisa train. The airport station is on İZBAN’s Aliağa–Selçuk suburban railway. İZBAN states that its network has 41 stations and connects with İzmir Metro and ESHOT; the airport operator directs arriving passengers to the airport’s Metro–İZBAN station. To continue to Manisa by rail, check the date-specific İZBAN journey first and then the separate TCDD Taşımacılık journey finder for the onward train. Havaş currently publishes an approximate duration of 90 minutes from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Manisa City Center. Havaş explicitly says that its travel durations are approximate and may vary with traffic, so the 90-minute figure is an airport-to-city-service estimate rather than a guaranteed hotel arrival time. The Havaş route is not a non-stop motorway transfer. The operator lists Gaziemir, İzotaş, İzmir Bus Terminal, Bornova, Manisa Junction and several Manisa stops in its route and stop information. A passenger getting off at Anemon, Batı Kışla, the Old Bus Terminal or Manisa Bus Terminal should compare that stop with the accommodation address before boarding. A rail journey cannot be reduced to one official airport-to-Manisa time because it requires at least an İZBAN leg and an onward TCDD leg, with a transfer between systems. İZBAN’s published homepage currently shows a network service start at 05:20 and final-station arrival at 01:23, but those figures are not a door-to-door airport-to-Manisa timetable. TCDD’s own planner asks for the departure station, destination and date before displaying current trains, so check the complete itinerary after selecting the actual travel date. The current Havaş route planner lists the fare from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport to Manisa City Center as 370 TL, including VAT. This is the published one-way fare shown for the selected route and date. Havaş does not state on the route result that the fare includes any onward city bus, taxi or rail journey after the passenger leaves the coach, so treat the Manisa stop as the end of the Havaş ticket. İZBAN uses its own fare and payment system. İZBAN’s passenger rules say that current fares and ticket-office hours are displayed at each station, and that electronic-card journeys are charged according to the travelled distance after the card is read at the payment machine. The operator page does not publish a single fixed airport-to-Manisa fare because Manisa is not an İZBAN destination; a rail itinerary needs separate İZBAN and TCDD checks. TCDD Taşımacılık’s journey finder requires the selected stations and date before returning available trains and prices. No universal airport-to-Manisa rail fare is published on the opened timetable surface, so do not combine a guessed İZBAN price with a guessed TCDD price. The airport operator lists taxis at the domestic and international arrivals levels and provides the Adnan Menderes Airport Taxi contact number, 0232 274 20 75. The airport page does not publish a fixed fare to Manisa, a journey-time promise or a Manisa tariff table. Ask the taxi rank for the applicable metered or quoted price before leaving the airport; no airport-published fare should be substituted for that current quote. For Saturday 26 September 2026, Havaş’s live route result lists two airport departures to Manisa City Center: 11:00 and 15:30. The same result gives the 90-minute approximate duration and the 370 TL fare. Havaş warns that service hours can change or be cancelled because of weather and flight cancellations, and asks passengers to confirm the service corresponding to their flight before travelling. The Havaş result also lists the service on Sunday 27 September 2026 at 11:00 and 15:30. This confirms Sunday operation for that selected date, but it does not turn the two displayed departures into a permanent daily timetable. İZBAN publishes a date-specific timetable search with departure station, arrival station and date fields. Its homepage currently displays a network service start of 05:20 and a final-station arrival of 01:23. Those network summary times do not state the first or last departure from Adnan Menderes Airport for a particular direction, nor do they guarantee a same-day connection with TCDD to Manisa. The airport itself is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That does not mean that every ground-transport option runs continuously: the airport page lists the transport types, while Havaş and İZBAN publish their own service information. A terminal being open overnight therefore gives you access to the airport, not an automatic late-night coach or rail connection to Manisa. The current Havaş results checked for Saturday 26 September and Sunday 27 September show 11:00 and 15:30 departures, with no later airport-to-Manisa departure displayed on either selected date. Do not wait at the airport expecting a late-evening coach unless the Havaş planner shows one for your travel date. İZBAN’s published network summary reaches into the night, but it does not certify a complete late-night airport-to-Manisa connection. Even when an airport train is available, the traveller still needs the correct direction, a workable İzmir interchange and a TCDD service onward to Manisa. A late arrival should therefore be checked as one complete itinerary rather than by reading the first and last times from different operators. For a Sunday arrival, the Havaş planner confirms the two displayed services on 27 September 2026. Sunday operation is therefore available on that date, while the displayed timetable remains limited to the times the operator publishes. The airport operator places taxis at the arrivals levels of both terminals and publishes the airport taxi contact number, but it does not publish a Manisa fare or a guaranteed journey time. For a flight arriving after the last displayed Havaş service, use the official airport taxi rank and obtain the current price and destination arrangement there. The airport’s 24-hour operating status means the terminal remains accessible while the ground-transport choice must still be confirmed separately.
