Muğla city is served most directly by Milas-Bodrum Airport (BJV). The airport is 75 km from Muğla, and MUTTAŞ operates route 48-22 from Menteşe Otogar through Milas to the airport. The route is listed as 85 km and is the practical scheduled-bus choice for the provincial capital. Dalaman Airport (DLM) is the alternative airport on the southern side of Muğla province.
