Währing

Währing is Vienna's 18th district, situated in the northwestern part of the city where it meets the Vienna Woods. The Pötzleinsdorfer Schlosspark and Geymüllerschlössel, a palace park and museum respectively, stand among its notable sites. Schafberg and other elevated points provide views across the district, while its parks and religious buildings mark a primarily residential character with modest attractions for visitors.
