About Fortnum & Mason

Fortnum & Mason is a historic department store and food hall at 181 Piccadilly in London’s St James’s district. Founded on Piccadilly in 1707 by William Fortnum and Hugh Mason, it grew from a grocery business into a flagship destination for food, drink and retail. The store’s current offer includes Fortnum’s teas, hampers, confectionery, wine and spirits, gifts, homeware and other goods. Its Piccadilly site also contains the Ground Floor Food Hall, restaurants and bars, including The Parlour, The Wine Bar & Restaurant and the Diamond Jubilee Tea Salon. The Tea Salon serves afternoon tea on the fourth floor, while The Parlour offers ice cream, coffee, hot chocolate and Welsh rarebit.
