Buenos Aires Airport Transfers

Buenos Aires has two main passenger airports. Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP) is 2 km from the city centre and handles domestic flights plus international routes to and from Uruguay. Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE), usually called Ezeiza, is 22 km from central Buenos Aires and handles much of the city’s international traffic. Tienda León is the principal named airport bus operator. Its current page lists routes between Ezeiza and Terminal Pellegrini at Pellegrini 971, between Aeroparque and that central terminal, and directly between Ezeiza and Aeroparque. Línea 8 provides a public-bus alternative between both airports. Tienda León lists about 1 hour from Ezeiza to Terminal Pellegrini and the same estimate in the return direction. Aeroparque to Terminal Pellegrini is listed at 30 minutes. The direct Tienda León Ezeiza–Aeroparque bus is listed at approximately 1 hour 20 minutes in either direction. The airport transfer product requires passengers to present themselves 15 minutes before the selected departure at the stand in the public hall after international arrivals. Tienda León’s terms state that this airport-to-airport service includes an intermediate stop at Terminal Madero, Av. Madero 401, within the estimated journey time. For Línea 8, the authority publishes route distances and running-time estimates rather than one hotel-to-hotel figure. The common airport route is shown as 53.866 km, with 158 minutes in peak conditions and 135 minutes outside peak conditions. The express route is 47.850 km, with 110 minutes in peak conditions and 95 minutes outside peak conditions. These are operating estimates, not guaranteed arrival times. The airport and Tienda León do not publish one universal taxi or remis duration for every Buenos Aires district. A private journey changes with the destination and traffic. Enter the exact address when booking, then keep a separate road buffer before an onward flight; an airport-to-city estimate cannot cover every neighbourhood or departure time. The authority’s published fare material includes the airport route and separates the journey into tariff sections rather than giving one single airport-to-airport price in the page text. Tienda León’s private remis portal calculates a price after you enter origin, destination, date, time, passenger count and vehicle class. The schedule marks this pattern for working days, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Taxis and remises are demand-based, so there is no frequency or first-and-last-departure table to follow. At either airport, walk to the signed pickup area, keep the reservation or voucher available and confirm the destination before leaving arrivals.
