Castle Peak Beach, or 青山灣泳灘, is the gazetted LCSD bathing beach at 19 milestone, Castle Peak Road in Tuen Mun. The Environmental Protection Department identifies the same site beside the Tuen Mun Typhoon Shelter and river channel, with a southwest-facing beach about 100 metres long. The LCSD listing marks it as protected by a shark-prevention net. This distinguishes it from nearby Kadoorie, Cafeteria Old, Cafeteria New and Golden beaches along Castle Peak Road.

Lifeguard cover is seasonal, not a year-round beach opening schedule. In April, May, September and October, service runs daily from 09:00 to 18:00. From June through August it runs 09:00–18:00 Monday to Friday and 08:00–19:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. Lifeguard service is suspended from November through March. Check LCSD special-incident notices and flags at the beach before entering the water; the presence of sand or an open access route does not mean supervised swimming is available.

EPD currently gives Castle Peak Beach a Grade 2, “Fair,” water-quality grading. Its advice says runoff can affect quality during and after heavy rain and recommends not swimming for up to three days after a storm or heavy rain, or until quality improves. Recheck the live grading on the day rather than treating the current grade as permanent.

Official facilities include a restaurant, 27 barbecue pits, changing rooms, showers, self-service storage cages, toilets and parking. Accessible provision includes an accessible toilet, tactile guide path, accessible parking space and Braille directory map or floor plan. These features do not establish step-free access across the sand or into the water. LCSD lists 2450 6326 for the beach office. For current transport, EPD directs visitors to the official HKeMobility journey planner; no single route should be treated as universally current.
