Jardin Villemin - Mahsa Jîna Amini is a public garden at 14 rue des Récollets in Paris’s 10th arrondissement, beside Canal Saint-Martin and close to Gare de l’Est. The City of Paris uses this exact name. It was adopted on 7 June 2023 in memory of Mahsa Jîna Amini and in recognition of the Woman, Life, Freedom movement for women’s rights and dignity in Iran.

For 1–30 September 2026, the gates open at 07:00 Monday–Friday and 08:00 Saturday–Sunday, closing at 20:30 every day. From 1–24 October, they open at 08:00 on weekdays and 09:00 at weekends, closing at 19:30. Paris changes gated-park hours seasonally and may alter access because of severe weather, demonstrations, renovation or other safety needs, so check the live City page for later dates. The Verdun-side gate notices still displayed concern work ending in April and a repair on 8–9 July 2026; they are not current September closures.

The garden has an undulating lawn, curved paths, mature trees, a children’s play area, basketball and pétanque courts, play equipment, drinking-water points, a mister, neighbourhood composting, a community garden and a music kiosk. Three public toilets and free municipal Wi-Fi are listed; there is no changing table and dogs are not admitted. City event listings identify the garden as accessible to people with reduced mobility. Nearby public-transport references include Gare de l’Est, Château-Landon and the Magenta–Saint-Martin bus stop. The surrounding eighteenth-century buildings began as part of the Récollets convent, later became a military hospital and have housed the Maison de l’Architecture since 2003. Kiosk events have their own schedules and do not extend the garden’s gate hours unless the City explicitly says so.
