About parc de Passy

Parc de Passy is a public park in Paris’s 16th arrondissement, arranged on a slope that descends from Passy hill toward the Seine. Its central lawn is framed by mature trees selected for distinctive forms, foliage, and seasonal flowering. The park’s main feature is the Allée des arches fleuries, a broad upper path lined with trellises covered by climbing plants and ending near a small gloriette. A lower annex square near Avenue René-Boylesve and Avenue du Président-Kennedy is connected to the main garden by a winding paved path bordered by cypresses and mixed flower beds. The Jardin des haies has tall hornbeam hedges and Himalayan birches, while the more secluded Jardin des fougères is shaded by red-barked cherry trees and planted with ferns. Families will find a 200-square-metre playground for children under 14, benches, and a nearby fitness area with six outdoor exercise machines. The park has entrances on Rue d’Ankara, Avenue Marcel-Proust, Avenue René-Boylesve, and Avenue du Président-Kennedy. It opened in its present form in 2004.
