Pavillon du Charolais is the building occupied by Le Hall de la chanson in Parc de la Villette, behind the Grande Halle. The operator uses the address Parc de la Villette, Pavillon du Charolais, 211 avenue Jean Jaurès, 75019 Paris. La Villette identifies it as the former butchers’ canteen dating from 1867. Since 2013 it has housed the national centre devoted to the heritage of French song; its higher-education theatre school was added in 2018.

The building is temporarily closed to audiences during the entire 2026–2027 season for major renovation. Le Hall de la chanson is presenting that season’s programme at other venues around France and expects to return to a fully renovated theatre in autumn 2027. Do not travel to Pavillon du Charolais simply because an event appears on the Hall’s agenda: open the individual listing and verify its venue. On-site box-office timing and ticket prices from earlier seasons do not describe access during the closure. Future reopening details should be checked with the operator before visiting.

For orientation, the pavilion is inside Parc de la Villette.
