Svetotroična Church, locally Црква Свете Тројице у Земуну, stands in Zemun, one of Belgrade’s urban municipalities. It is a Serbian Orthodox parish church and a protected cultural monument of Serbia, recorded as monument SK 29. The present building was constructed from 1839 to 1842 to designs by Joseph Felber. Its rectangular plan includes a single apse and a two-storey bell tower. The west façade follows a Classical composition: a tympanum and two symmetrical vaulted elements frame the belfry, while moulded cornices divide the elevations and add a Baroque accent higher on the tower. The churchyard is enclosed by a notable Classical iron fence. Inside, the gilded carved-wood iconostasis combines Baroque and Classical elements. Gavrilo Ninković made the wood carving, while Živko Petrović, a painter from Zemun, painted the iconostasis and the mural paintings. The church is a compact architectural and religious heritage site for visitors exploring Zemun’s historic streets.
