Winter Park, Mills 50, Audubon Park, Ivanhoe Village and other neighbourhoods add dining, museums and local streets beyond the resort zones. Plan each day around one district because cross-city transfers can consume substantial time.

How the city is laid out

Downtown Orlando and its surrounding neighbourhoods sit well north of the main theme-park corridor. International Drive forms another visitor axis, while the large resort complexes occupy separate sites farther southwest. Winter Park lies north of downtown and is a distinct city within the wider visitor destination. Treat the airport, downtown, International Drive and each resort area as separate zones rather than stops on one compact central route.
