About Ponto Chic

Ponto Chic is a historic São Paulo bar founded in 1922 at Largo do Paissandu. Its operator says the original Bauru sandwich was created there in 1937 and remains the house specialty, made with roast beef, tomato, pickle and four melted cheeses in French bread. The Centro branch publishes weekday and Saturday hours.
