Savski kej is a riverside promenade on the left bank of the Sava in New Belgrade, Serbia. The public waterfront extends for about 3 kilometres from Block 70a through Blocks 70 and 44 to Block 45. It was laid out from the 1960s and forms part of New Belgrade’s planned riverfront landscape. The promenade has separate paths for walkers and for jogging or cycling, together with grassy areas, an outdoor gym and fishing spots. The Sava lies directly beside the route, while Ada Međica and Ada Ciganlija are across the river and can be reached by boat. Savski kej is best understood as an open-air recreation area and walking route rather than a single enclosed monument or museum. It can be combined with a longer New Belgrade riverside walk, with cafés, restaurants and floating venues located along parts of the waterfront. The route provides a straightforward way to experience Belgrade’s Sava shoreline and the broad public spaces of the city’s left bank.
