Çamlıca Tower

Çamlıca Tower stands on Büyük Çamlıca Hill on the Asian side, the highest point overlooking the Bosphorus, and opened on 29 May 2021. At 369 m it is a communication tower built for television and radio broadcasting, replacing the forest of separate transmission masts that previously covered the hill. The concrete structure has 49 levels and combines its broadcasting role with public floors: an observation deck, restaurants and event spaces above the working transmission equipment, making it as much a viewpoint as it is infrastructure.
