Eyüpsultan is a district of Istanbul extending from the Golden Horn to the Black Sea. The Eyüp neighborhood at the head of the Golden Horn holds the tomb of Abu Ayyub al-Ansari, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, alongside the Eyüp Sultan Cemetery and numerous mosques.
