About Giardini della Biennale
Giardini della Biennale is La Biennale di Venezia’s historic garden venue in Castello, with the Central Pavilion and 29 national pavilions. In 2026 it hosts In Minor Keys, the 61st International Art Exhibition, from 9 May to 22 November. Giardini and Arsenale are complementary venues: the standard one-access ticket permits one entry to each, including on different non-consecutive days. A typical self-guided visit takes about three hours per venue.
Until 27 September, Giardini opens Tuesday–Sunday 11:00–19:00, with last admission at 18:45. From 29 September to 22 November it opens 10:00–18:00, with last admission at 17:45. It is closed on Mondays except 7 September and 16 November. Friday and Saturday opening until 20:00 applies only to Arsenale, not Giardini. Individual pavilions can have exceptions; check the official visitor page, especially for the Netherlands and Austrian pavilions.
A full-price one-access ticket is €30. Reduced options include €20 for visitors over 65 or Venice residents and €16 for students or visitors under 26; eligibility documents are required. Reservation is required. The Giardini entrances are at Viale Trento 1260 and Sant’Elena on Viale IV Novembre. ACTV routes 1, 4.1 and 5.1 serve the Giardini Biennale stop, with route 6 from Piazzale Roma. Public services include a bar, restaurant, bookshop and restrooms with changing tables. An accessibility map covers routes and individual pavilions. Visitors with limited mobility can use a courtesy electric-vehicle service and may request a stroller, walker or wheelchair from staff, subject to availability. Certified disabled visitors have a €20 ticket; an eligible accompanying person may request a complimentary ticket at the Infopoint.
