Vavedenje Monastery is a Serbian Orthodox monastery in Senjak, an urban neighbourhood within Belgrade’s Savski Venac municipality. The church was built and consecrated on 25 October 1936 as a metochion, or dependency, of Kuveždin Monastery in Srem. Its foundations were consecrated the previous year, on 11 August 1935. Persida Milenković funded the construction; local accounts connect the project with a recurring dream that the monastery should be built on this site. The complex consists of the church dedicated to the Presentation of the Virgin Mary and a residence. The church follows the Serbo-Byzantine style, with a cross-shaped plan, a central dome and four smaller domes. Decorative elements include carved wooden furnishings, portals for venerating icons and a five-domed ciborium. The monastery is also associated with the burial and later enshrinement of Saint Confessor Dositej Vasić. The complex is listed as an immovable cultural monument. Its feast day, the Presentation of the Virgin Mary, is celebrated on 4 December.
