Fountain of Ahmed III

Four sebil kiosks project from the corners of the square structure, each originally staffed to give away water and sherbet to the public, with five further taps set into the walls between them for everyday drawing of water. Every surface is carved and gilded with floral Tulip Period ornament and calligraphic inscriptions, including verses composed for the fountain's opening — there is no interior to walk into, since the whole structure is an exterior monument.
