The O2 Arena is the up-to-20,000-capacity live-event venue at the centre of The O2 complex on Greenwich Peninsula. It is distinct from indigo, Cineworld, Outlet Shopping, Up at The O2 and the complex’s restaurants. An arena ticket covers only the named event, not every attraction under the roof.
There are no permanent arena opening hours or standard admission price. The operator says doors open at 18:30 for most events, but exact timings may arrive only on the day and can change with little warning. Check the event page and the time printed on your ticket, then allow time for security. The entrance is also stated on the ticket. Tickets, age rules, seating layouts and obstructed-view warnings are event-specific.
One bag per person is allowed, no larger than A4. Backpacks, travel cases, laptop bags, camera bags and large totes are prohibited inside the arena; paid storage outside the main entrance is £10 per bag. All bags may be searched. Outside food and drink are not permitted, although an empty crushable bottle can be brought through security and refilled inside. The arena is cashless, and re-entry is not allowed after a ticket has been scanned.
North Greenwich is the nearest Underground station, on the Jubilee line. Event drivers use Car Park 1 and are advised to pre-book; major surrounding roadworks currently cause delays, especially after shows. Blue Badge spaces are available in every O2 car park, and an accessible drop-off is about 150 metres from the main entrance. Arena concourses are level and step-free, lifts serve all levels, and accessible toilets are available throughout. Wheelchair platforms and other accessible seats depend on the event layout and must be selected through event-specific accessible ticket options.
