Robbenfenster is the mapped viewing point at the Polarium inside Tiergarten Schönbrunn in Vienna. OpenStreetMap places the exact node beside the zoo’s South American sea-lion enclosure and records wheelchair access. The zoo operator describes the corresponding visitor feature as a darkened “diving box” with a glass floor, where visitors look down at sea lions swimming below. A separate 13-metre glazed section provides an underwater view into the pool.

Tiergarten Schönbrunn’s current animal page places its South American sea lions in the Polarium. The operator’s July 2026 update also confirms that the sea-lion enclosure remains in active use, including a dedicated mother-and-young area after two births that month. Animal locations and viewing conditions can change, so these dated details should be checked against current zoo notices.
