About Théâtre Marigny

Théâtre Marigny is the performance venue at Carré Marigny, 75008 Paris, beside the Champs-Élysées gardens. France’s official heritage register identifies the same building: Charles Garnier designed the original panorama in 1881, it became a theatre in 1893, and the present Art Deco auditorium was created in 1925. The auditorium has been protected as a historic monument since 1990.

The theatre does not offer building tours; auditorium access is for people holding a performance ticket. Choose a production on the official programme page for its dates, start time, seating plan, age guidance and current ticket prices. Doors open one hour before the performance, and the operator strongly recommends arriving at least 30 minutes before the ticketed start. Late entry and the original numbered seat are not guaranteed. The box office is currently listed as open daily from 13:00 to 18:00 and again before performances, but these are ticket-service hours, not general visitor opening hours.

For public transport, use Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau on Métro lines 1 or 13, or Franklin D. Roosevelt on line 9. Buses 42 and 73 stop at Champs-Élysées–Clemenceau; buses 32 and 80 serve Rond-Point des Champs-Élysées. The theatre states that it is accessible to visitors with reduced mobility. Accessible seats cannot be booked online and should be reserved through the theatre; the dedicated accessibility contact is +33 1 53 96 70 40. General spectator enquiries use +33 1 86 47 72 77. Guide dogs may be accepted, while other animals are not permitted. Bags larger than 40 × 30 × 15 centimetres are refused, as are suitcases, scooters and bicycle batteries.
