Fondazione Prada

Fondazione Prada’s Venice venue occupies Ca’ Corner della Regina in the Santa Croce district, overlooking the Grand Canal. The operator dates the present palace to 1723–1728 and identifies Domenico Rossi as its architect for the Corner family of San Cassiano. The building stands on the site of the Gothic house where Caterina Cornaro, the future Queen of Cyprus, was born in 1454. It later housed the Monte di Pietà and, from 1975 to 2010, the Venice Biennale’s Historical Archive of Contemporary Art. Fondazione Prada has used Ca’ Corner della Regina as its Venice exhibition venue since 2011.

The current exhibition is Helter Skelter: Arthur Jafa and Richard Prince, presented from 9 May through 23 November 2026. Curator Nancy Spector places work by the two American artists in dialogue across the ground and first floors of Ca’ Corner della Regina. The operator says the exhibition contains more than fifty works, including photographs, videos, installations, sculptures and paintings, as well as new work by each artist and a jointly conceived zine. Its themes examine how Jafa and Prince appropriate and transform material drawn from American popular culture. The operator’s notice also identifies explicit and potentially disturbing content, including scenes of violence, nudity and sexual imagery. Adults should consider that notice before bringing minors. The programme belongs specifically to the Venice venue, not the permanent installations or other exhibitions at Fondazione Prada in Milan.

Fondazione Prada gives a one-hour duration for a guided visit in Venice. That figure describes the booked guided-tour service and is not a standard duration for an independent visit. Guided visits accommodate one to twenty-five participants, cost €120 excluding admission and require a booking request at least seven days before the visit. The foundation says it responds to requests within three to five working days. For a self-guided visit, set aside time according to the current exhibition and the works you want to examine; the visitor information gives no single duration for that format.

The Venice venue opens 10:00–18:00 on Monday and from Wednesday through Sunday; Tuesday is closed. These are the operator’s published hours as checked on 6 September 2026. The current Helter Skelter exhibition runs through 23 November 2026, so verify the programme and timetable again for a later visit rather than assuming that an exhibition schedule continues indefinitely. The ticket desk sells admission until one hour before the exhibition spaces close. Full admission to Fondazione Prada Venice is €15. The operator lists €11 concession tickets for FAI cardholders and Art Biennale visitors, and €7 reduced tickets for visitors under 30, visitors over 65 and press-pass holders. Admission is free for visitors under 19 and for visitors with disabilities with a companion. Tickets are sold online and at the Venice venue; the ticket desk remains available until one hour before the exhibition spaces close. Online advance sales add a €1 booking charge per person except for free tickets. Entry must occur on the date and within the time slot printed on the ticket, and a ticket allows one entry to each exhibition space. The operator states that a booking cannot be refunded or cancelled when the holder cannot visit on the reserved date and time.

Use Ca’ Corner della Regina, Calle de Ca’ Corner, Santa Croce 2215, 30135 Venezia as the destination. Fondazione Prada identifies two Line 1 vaporetto stops for the Venice venue: San Stae and Rialto Mercato. Plan the trip around the current Line 1 timetable, then use the full street address for the final walk from the chosen stop. Both stops are listed specifically for Ca’ Corner della Regina in Santa Croce. The venue page gives no fixed walking-time or water-taxi instruction.

Fondazione Prada says all areas at its venues are accessible to visitors with disabilities or mobility difficulties, and wheelchairs are available at reception. Visitors with disabilities and a companion receive free admission. Follow the marked route and staff instructions inside the exhibition. Bags larger than 40 × 30 × 20 centimetres, helmets, scooters, folding bicycles and skateboards are not admitted to the exhibition spaces. Food and drink are prohibited inside, and animals are not admitted except service animals assisting visitors with disabilities. Contact visitor services before travel when a particular form of assistance is required.

Handheld photographs of objects and spaces are permitted for personal use unless Fondazione Prada communicates a different rule. Flash, tripods and extendable selfie sticks are prohibited throughout the Milan and Venice exhibition spaces. Commercial photo or video shoots and posed photography are not allowed inside the exhibition areas or outdoor spaces. Journalistic and commercial work, and any use of tripods or professional equipment, requires advance permission from the foundation’s communications office. Follow any additional notice attached to the current exhibition and instructions from gallery staff. Permission for ordinary personal photography does not override a work-specific restriction communicated at the venue.
