About Hinterhoftheater

Hinterhoftheater was a Munich small-stage theatre founded by Günter Knoll and Thomas Brönner on 1 December 1977. It moved to Wirtshaus am Hart on Sudetendeutschestraße 40 in 1980 and closed at the end of March 2007. The successor organisation, HINTERHOF.kultur, continues programmes at changing venues rather than operating a fixed house.
